the best place in salem, or to learn the beautiful game

Salem Hawks FC is a Salem/Keizer youth soccer academy dedicated to developing confident, intelligent, and technically skilled players through purposeful training and a strong understanding of the game.

OUR STORY

Salem Hawks FC started with just four girls — including our own daughter.

We saw a need in our community for quality youth soccer development that focused on the fundamentals of the game, proper teaching, and long-term player growth. Instead of waiting for that environment to appear, we decided to create it ourselves.

Soccer has been a major part of our family for decades. Our program is built on a strong foundation of experience, knowledge, and a genuine love for the game.

Our coaching background includes more than 30 years of soccer experience, professional coaching, and a USSF “A” License. It also includes over 10 years of professional playing experience in Mexico and Spain, along with NCAA Division I playing experience.

We brought those different experiences together with one simple goal: to give young players in our community the kind of development, guidance, and opportunities we believe every player deserves.

What started with four girls has grown into something much bigger — a soccer family built around development, confidence, fundamentals, and love for the game.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community, share what soccer has given to our family, and help develop the next generation of local talent.

This is more than a club to us. It’s personal. It’s family. It’s the Hawks. 🦅⚽
